27,000+ shoes and the gospel shared. We saw feet that were bruised and callused.

We collect and distribute shoes to people all around the world who go barefoot every day. After first going to Honduras in 2011, we were moved to see that almost all the children we met did not have shoes to wear on ground that was rocky, dirty, and muddy. So, together we decided to put our faith into action and start Honduran Soles to work to meet a physical need while also using the shoes as a b

ridge to share the love and hope found in Jesus Christ. "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

What a privilege to donate to the funds for shoes to bless these beautiful kids and community. Your donations to Honduran Soles over the years have made these partnerships possible. We are so amazed by all LifeSeeds International of Harrisburg does. They fed and ministered to thousands of Guatemalan families this past December; we simply contributed for shoe purchasing.
Since 2015, LifeSeeds International has facilitated the distribution of over 55.7 million pounds of food! Incredible. Thank you to our friend Edgar for your ministry and heart which we admire so dearly. May Jesus be glorified through these acts of kindness!

December, 2021. Edgar Castanon and ministry served more than 4,700 children in one week all across Guatemala... Alotenango, Jutiapa, El porvenir Villa Canales, Jalapa (2 locations), Garbage Dumps Zona 3, Catarina San Marcos, Puerto San José and other locations. Honduran Soles was able to contribute some funds towards purchasing shoes, while most of the service ministry donations and support came through LifeSeeds International which is part of Life Center Ministries. Thank you for supporting us so that we can support partners/ministries like Edgar, who give and give and give. The gospel message which saves, and physical needs met!

This week we partnered with our friend Edgar Castanon who oversees a ministry of over 350 churches all across the east coast.

We were able to donate over a thousand pairs of shoes & soccer equipment to be distributed to churches that have upcoming mission trips to places like Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, plus lots of local outreaches in cities in the U.S.

Praise God for this connection and for all those who are blessed by it. Please be praying for Edgar and every team traveling in the U.S. and around the world.

Alotenango Antigua, Villa Canales, & Zona 18 in Guatemala -- December 2020, right before Christmas. Many shoes and the love of Jesus gifted to beautiful families. Gracias, thank you to Edgar Castanon for your heart, vision and work to the nations. We love partnering with you year after year.

The pandemic has halted a lot of our work in 2020, but the opportunities God has given us despite the current crisis, well, we love being able to share with you all. Thank you for praying with us.

Hi everyone! We know this has been a hard time for so many in our community. We want to extend an offer to anyone that may be in need of warm shoes for this winter. If you know of a family in need of winter shoes/boots, please send us a private message. We believe God has called us to serve our local community just as much as those around the world. I pray as a community we can come together to love and serve those in need.

We pray for God's continued blessing and protection over each of you. God is on your side. Keep looking up. His promises remain just as true today as they did before the pandemic hit. He is for you! We are praying for you and your families.

THANK YOU to everyone that donated to support our hospitals! These donations will be split between Evangelical Community Hospital & Geisinger to support all medical and hospital staff. Lots of snacks, healthy drinks and coffee! We also were able to cater a meal for the PIMCU at Penn State Hershey’s Children’s hospital & have a few more planned.

We pray God’s blessing and protection over our entire community. May God surround you and and your family with His favor & provision. Remember, He is for you & He is with you. In the good and the bad, He is faithful. May you feel His love and peace now more than ever.

--Purchase a Bible for Honduras & the Domincan Republic!--

Hi friends! We have an awesome opportunity to support 2 upcoming medical mission trips to Honduras & the Dominican Republic in March by purchasing bibles in both Spanish and Creole.

Our hearts are for missions, but at the end of the day, the gospel and Jesus are what is most important. Two of our beautiful friends, Krystie and Kaydie will be traveling with a group from my medical school to both spread the gospel, and work through medical clinics.

If you would like to purchase a bible, please do so through the wish list. If you would like to include a personal note, encouraging scripture, or make the gift in honor of someone, please feel free to send us an email to [email protected] and we will be sure to include it in the bible.

A story for your heart tonight:
“During this trip, our group was able to visit pastors in the community. The pastors in that area only make $10/month. One man, upon receiving a small pink pair of shoes, was overcome with emotion and tears. He told the team that he and his wife just had their first child 8 months ago, but they haven’t been able to afford her shoes yet. She will begin walking soon, and they kept praying for God to provide shoes so that she could learn to walk safely and with support. He said God answered his prayer.” 💛👣🌎 (November, 2019)

While we can’t tell you the place these shoes went recently for the protection of the people involved, we do have permission from them to share some pictures, and all we can say is God is good and so many were overwhelmed by the gift of a new pair of shoes. Thank you all for your continued support in sharing the message of HOPE in Jesus, and giving a little gift, too. 👟👟
