We’re excited to share that the Getting Ahead Foundation has received a 2026 WellSpan Health Inspire Grant – Cycle B to support Hacia Adelante (Moving Forward) in Sunbury! 💙

This funding will help provide Getting Ahead in the Valley programming to 12 low-income, non-native English speakers in the Shikellamy School District. Participants will build resources, strengthen financial stability, and gain tools to help create a better future for themselves and their families.

Thriving communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed. Thanks to WellSpan for investing in programs that help break down barriers and move our community forward! 💙

The Getting Ahead Foundation is proud to be part of the Union County Veterans' 4th of July Celebration Parade on Saturday, June 27!

Come out and celebrate community, hope, and independence as we honor our veterans and the freedoms they have helped protect. We look forward to connecting with friends, families, and supporters from across the region during this patriotic community tradition.

📣 Attention Milton Staying Ahead Participants!

⭐️ Our June Staying Ahead meeting will be held this Thursday, June 18, at 6:00 PM at Milton Lutheran Church.

⭐️ The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau will be joining us to share fun things to do throughout the summer and fall right here in our region!

🍕 Pizza and chips will be provided.

Free Lunches at The Milton Public Library this Wednesday, June 3rd.
Every Wednesday from 12-1pm we will be serving lunches to kids 18 and under. We will also have an activity or craft to go along each week.
