Marshall County Veteran Service Officer Brandon Cannon Receives Prestigious CSO Impact Award
Marshall County Veteran Service Officer Brandon Cannon has been awarded the 2024 CSO Impact Award by the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services. Cannon, who has been a Veterans Service Officer in Marshall County for over 2 years received the award at the Tennessee Dept. of Veterans Service Annual Training held this week in Chattanooga.
The CSO award is given in recognition of the positive impact that county Veterans Service Officers have on Servicemembers, Veterans and their families in the community. The award is based on commitment, dedication and excellence in customer service.
The 2024 CSO Impact Award was presented during the Annual Veterans Service Banquet that culminated 3 days of training. Dan Schulteis, Regional Director of the Tennessee Dept. of Veterans Services, Region 2 was instrumental in recommending Cannon as this year’s recipient. Cannon was one of 4 to receive the honor in the state of Tennessee.
