Friends of Pinchot had a great first monthly Trail Care day. We didn't let the rain hold us back. If you would like to help us improve the trails at Gifford Pinchot State Park we will be meeting the second Tuesday of every month through October. As the days get longer and warmer, you may see the white flowers of bloodroot popping out of the forest floor.

You can typically find this quick-blooming wildflower in early April, waiting for helpful pollinators.
