Scouts BSA Troop 7844 Troop 7844 is a female troop in Scouts BSA, based out of the Alum Creek Church of Christ in Lewis Center, Ohio, along with boy troop 844.

Our girls come from surrounding areas including Delaware and Sunbury. We plan a monthly campout, and meet weekly.

We camped at Camp Falling Rock this weekend and visited Historic Roscoe Village. We rode the canal boat along the Ohio Erie Canal. The horses, Rock and Bill, were kind enough to pull us along. Then we learned about the old canal town, including hands-on tin punching and candle dipping. A great learning weekend!

Scout Troop 7844 had a great time camping near Cuyahoga Valley National Park this weekend, taking hikes and observing nature. Despite the storms, the weekend was great and we got a lot done!

Congratulations to our new Star scout! Last night we held our March court of honor, recognizing achievements made by our scouts. We had one rank advancement and seven merit badges awarded! We also distributed patches for those who participated in the Bushwack five and ten mile hikes.
