And just like that, the doors to the Lewes Designer Showhouse have officially closed. 🤍

What a journey this has been. From the very beginning, this project was made possible by an incredible group of designers, artisans, local vendors, and volunteers who gave their time, talent, and resources to bring this home to life.

Over the course of the Showhouse, we welcomed 245 guests through the doors and raised $12,200 for the Lewes Fire Department.

To our community, thank you for showing up and supporting this project. Whether you purchased a ticket, attended an event, followed along on Instagram, shared our posts, or helped spread the word, we are so grateful for the support you showed us along the way.

Watching this home come together and seeing our community rally around such a meaningful cause has been something we will never forget.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Lewes Designer Showhouse.♥️

Despite the nor’easter, we had a great turnout at the Lewes Designer Showhouse Soirée. It was an evening filled with great food, drinks, and company.

After a full year of planning, designing, building, and bringing every detail together, it was so special to have everyone under one roof to celebrate what we accomplished, all in support of the Lewes Fire Department.

A huge thank you to Sean from Limbo Mixology for the amazing cocktails everyone enjoyed throughout the night, Megan Kee of Megan Kee Collective for the delicious catering, Megan from Heartbeat Branding Co. for capturing the evening in photos, and Kenzie from Mackenzie Wolk for videography of the event.

The Hydrangea Guest Suite

Designed by Karen Helme, this intimate en suite guest room was kept light, fresh, and full of garden-inspired charm.

Anna French’s Sussex Hydrangea wraps the bedroom and continues into the bath, allowing the pattern to become the thread that connects both spaces. The sculptural pagoda-style bed, painted a rich green and layered with relaxed gingham, gives the room its playful focal point, while framed botanical prints continue the garden story.

The adjoining bath keeps things crisp with bright white penny-round flooring, classic subway tile, and a traditional chair rail.

& A Nod to the Coast designed by Jen Mackey

With the rest of the house leaning away from an overtly coastal theme, this twin guest room gave us a chance to have a little fun with Lewes’ seaside setting

Custom twin headboards upholstered in Anna French’s Beckley Stripe sit against Bryson wallpaper from the Anna French Willow Tree Collection, while horizontal shiplap wraps the room and quietly reinforces the coastal influence.

Between the beds, a 19th-century Sheraton chest adds history and warmth, topped with a vintage lobster tin trade sign for just the right touch of whimsy.

A guest room with a wink to the water—fresh, relaxed, and just nautical enough.

Brooke Silver is the founder of Delaware Locals Feed, a platform dedicated to supporting and celebrating small businesses across the First State. A Delaware native, Brooke grew up in Milton and has spent her career building relationships throughout the local community, from the beaches to Wilmington and beyond.

Inspired by the resilience of small business owners during the pandemic, she launched Delaware Locals Feed in 2020. Through content creation, Instagram management, and behind-the-scenes storytelling, Brooke helps local businesses share their stories and connect with their audiences in authentic ways.

For the Lewes Designer Showhouse, Brooke serves as a volunteer, helping connect local businesses and designers to the project while managing social media and documenting the home’s transformation. She is also donating a one-hour content creation session to the Showhouse raffle to help raise additional funds for the Lewes Fire Department.
