Ocean Waves Quilt Guild, Inc. meets the first Monday of the month at Conely"s UMC, Lewes, DE. unless its a holiday then its the second Monday of the month.

Quilt Show - April 1-3, 2027 Ocean Waves is an educationally oriented guild which seeks to develop and expands its members' quilting skills and knowledge through a variety of opportunities including:

• monthly programs featuring professional and member lectures and trunk shows

• demonstrations and classes

• bees & retreats

• small gr

oup projects such as block swaps, round robins and challenges

• and community service. The guild strives to foster the sharing of member talents and quilting resources through its activities, newsletter and website. Ocean Waves is a 501(c)(3) organization.

We're looking for a few good hoppers. Shop Hoppers, that is! The publicity committee has assembled Quilt Show Information "Kits' to distribute to all 78 shops in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop region. If you are planning to visit any (or all) of the shops, please let us know if you can hand deliver kits for us. (Jean Folsom and Janis Nezvesky-Schertzer).

Quilt Show rack cards will be available at the Guild Meeting. Help us distribute them to high impact locations: libraries, hotels, art galleries - anywhere you think will attract more attendees to the show!

Come browse fabric, fat quarters, pre-cuts, notions, and quilting treasures. You never know what gem is waiting for you.

This quilt by Barbara Ignatius was a Block of the Month from her previous guild, Gold Coast Quilt Guild in Morro Bay, CA. They loosely followed Eleanor Burns Underground Railroad book and it was donated to a camp in Maryland.

Through Patriotic Quilts and Quilts of Valor, quilters stitch gratitude, remembrance, and comfort into every piece. These quilts are more than fabric—they are hugs, healing, recognition, and appreciation.
