🎙️ Heidi Hits the Airwaves!

Our guild president, Heidi, tried something new today—she was a podcast guest for the very first time! We’re excited to see the Ocean Waves Quilt Guild getting a little extra spotlight!

A big thank-you to Christine and Ryan McCoy of the Real McCoy Group and the hosts of Dela-Where? for inviting Heidi to be part of the conversation.

What did they talk about? You’ll have to wait and hear for yourself!

📣 Stay tuned! The episode is expected to be released in about 3 weeks. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Show & Tell time!

Our latest guild meeting brought out another wonderful collection of quilts and projects from our talented members!

We love seeing the creativity, different techniques, and personal touches that make every quilt unique. And, of course, there’s always that one question…

Will we see any of these beauties hanging in our 2027 quilt show? 👀

Keep sewing, keep creating, and keep sharing!

WIP Wednesday! 🧵

What’s your current WIP — Work in Progress, or Why Is this Project still here?

Maybe you’re starting something new… finishing something old… or simply moving fabric from one pile to another. We don’t judge. 😉

Show us what you’re working on this Wednesday!

Here are some more from our last Show & Tell at our guild meeting!
We love seeing what everyone has been creating!
And it got us wondering… will any of these beautiful quilts make an appearance at An Ocean of Quilts in April? We’ll have to wait and see!

Patriotic Quilts in progress! 🇺🇸

At our last sew-in, the Ocean Waves Quilt Guild members completed this beautiful quilt top! From cutting and piecing to sewing each block, it’s wonderful to see everyone’s time and talents come together.

This quilt will soon be finished and ready to bring comfort and appreciation to a deserving veteran through our community service efforts.

We’re proud of the work our members do—one stitch at a time.

We will have a Quilts of Valor display at our quilt show APRIL 1 -3, 2027.
