📢 ISO/IEC 17020:2026 Has Been Released

The publication of ISO/IEC 17020:2026, Conformity Assessment .
Requirements for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection, marks an important milestone for inspection bodies, accreditation bodies, regulators, and industries that rely on independent inspection services.

The revised standard reflects the evolving needs of today's inspection environment by strengthening confidence in inspection activities, improving consistency, and supporting greater competence, impartiality, and effectiveness across the conformity assessment ecosystem.

📢 ISO/IEC 27000:2026 Has Been Published

ISO and IEC have officially released ISO/IEC 27000:2026, providing an updated overview of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) family of standards.

This publication does not revise ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and does not introduce new certification requirements, new Annex A controls, or mandatory transition activities. Instead, it clarifies the relationships between the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards and supports consistent implementation and understanding.

For Accredited Certification Bodies, this is an opportunity to update technical references and strengthen auditor competency.

For Certified Organizations, no changes to your ISMS are required solely because of this publication.
