Big day today! 📢🎉📢 Our Cub Scouts are Crossing over to the Next Rank! ⚜️ 🎊

And we started the day just right! Thank you to the cub Scouts and Leaders who showed up this morning to Raise the US Flag at Love Creek Elementary School , H.O. Brittingham Elementary School and Lewes Elementary Cape and recite the Pledge of allegiance! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

See you all at the Crossover at Holly Lake Campsites at 6.30pm so we can see our Scouts take the next step in their Scouting adventure!

Scouting programs and Pack 1 Lewes could not exist and be as successful as it is without it's dedicated, volunteer, "1 hour per week" wonderful leaders. This week our Cubmaster, Chris Huebler and Assistant Cubmasters James Fisher and Liz Cinque were recognized by the Delmarva Council with multiple awards including Unit Volunteer of the Year, 100% Leaders Position Trained, Scouters Training Award, Den Leader and Scouters Training Awards and Energizer Bunny Award.

Huge shout-out to Chris Huebler and Thank you for your service to our country and to Scouting and Pack 1!
Cubmaster Chris Huebler was given the Sean Mullen Legacy Award tonight- for serving Scouting and the Armed Forces with noteworthy quality!

AND the Highest Award given to a Scouter at the District Level was awarded to Chris Huebler - the District Award of Merit! 🎉 🎉

Congratulations to our Leaders and Thank You for all that you do for Scouting and Pack 1 Cub Scouts Lewes! 👏🎉⚜️ 🎊🎉⚜️ 👏

So many activities, so many adventures! Our Cub Scouts and Leaders keep busy every week and complete requirements, learn and have tons of fun! Aware and care, activities at the park, learning about bees and harvesting honey, building a fire safely, learning how to cook and Stargazing are just a few of the most recent adventures completed! 🏃🤸 🐝 🍯 🍿 🌟 🔭

The Delmarva Jamboree at Akridge Scout Reservation just days ago was a success despite the cold and rainy weather. Thank you Cub Scouts and families and also Scouts BSA Troop 1G for attending, participating, volunteering and having a lot of fun!

Such an exciting weekend ahead! Pack 1 Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA Troop 1G will be at the Delmarva Jamboree this weekend! Come join us for a fun, adventure filled 2 days, good company of your fellow Scouts and families, camping, good food, skits and songs by the campfire! 🏕️ 🔥 🎯 🧗‍♂️ 🎣

Kudos to all our Cub Scouts and families who braved the cold and joined us for our annual Big Chill trip! The Cub scouts enjoyed sledding on ice, playing Gaga, playing disc golf and hiking to the shores of a frozen Pocomoke river. We warmed up by the fire, played board games and enjoyed delicious meals cooked by our AOL Den, their last ones before crossing to the Troop. Thank you AOLs! We finished our day with our Pack meeting, skits and jokes and a respectful US Flag retirement ceremony. Great Job Cub Scouts! ❄️🛷 🏕️ 🔥 ❄️
