⚔️🛡️ Hear Ye, Fearless Tango Raiders! 🛡️⚔️
This Tuesday, June 2nd, the longships once again dock at LSAC for an evening of Argentine Tango, camaraderie, and the occasional navigational error disguised as “creative interpretation.” 😄
Tonight’s Featured Lesson:
🌊 The Viking Voyage of the Front Ocho & Parada & Sacada 🌊
Prepare yourselves for a beautiful Nuevo movement so captivating that even the Norse gods might pause mid-mead to admire the geometry of it all. This glorious pattern, recently being polished to a Nordic gleam by the infamous Norseman Don Barrow and Shield Maiden Amanda Showell, begins with a simple front ocho, parada & sacada and unfolds into something worthy of saga status.
Fair warning: you are going to drool over this pattern.
The best part? You can grasp the concepts in three minutes. Yes, three! Roughly the time it takes a Viking to sharpen an axe, question a map, and accidentally cabeceo the wrong shieldmaiden. This is a cooperative venture between Amanda and TBTB. Without her there would be no Tango Norsemen or Shieldmaidens.
Whether you’re a seasoned tango berserker or simply tango-curious, come ready to sail the dance floor with good humor, great company, and perhaps a dramatic flourish or two.
⚓ Tuesday Evenings at LSAC from 7 to 9
Bring your dancing shoes. Horned helmets optional. Floorcraft mandatory.
Tango Tribe of the Northern Seas awaits! 💃🕺
