Call to Action: Every Voice Matters, Every Vote Counts!
As you attend church this Sunday, I encourage you to review your bulletin and reach out to those on the sick and shut-in list. Whether family, friends, or fellow church members, take a moment to check on their well-being and ask if they anticipate being able to vote in person on Tuesday, November 3rd.
If not, encourage them to consider requesting a mail-in ballot. This allows them to vote without depending on transportation or assistance on Election Day.
Important Pennsylvania Voting Deadlines:
- October 19: Last day to register to vote.
- October 27, by 5 p.m.: Deadline for county election offices to receive mail-in ballot applications.
- November 3, by 8 p.m.: Completed mail-in ballots must be received by the county election office.
Voting Rights for Incarcerated and Returning Citizens
If you are incarcerated, awaiting trial, on probation or parole, or returning to your community following incarceration, you may still be eligible to vote! Do not assume that a criminal record automatically disqualifies you. Contact your County Board of Elections for accurate information about your eligibility, registration, and voting options.
Election Day: Know Your Rights!
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you experience or witness anything unusual, including:
- A polling location that is closed or opens late.
- Voter intimidation, harassment, or interference.
- Requests for identification when you have previously voted at that polling location and are not required to show ID.
- Long lines or attempts to prevent eligible voters from casting their ballots.
Stay in line! If you are in line by 8 p.m., you have the right to cast your vote, regardless of how long the line may be.

Call or text 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) to speak with a trained Election Protection volunteer.
For official voting information, visit vote.pa.gov or contact your County Board of Elections.
A simple phone call, a thoughtful conversation, or helping someone find accurate information can make a meaningful difference.
