IN LOVING MEMORY & TRIBUTE TO PRINCE SHERMAN THOMAS (AKA JUSTPRINCE)
Today, August 8, 2026, as the remains of our beloved son Prince Sherman Thomas were laid to rest, our hearts are full of his loving memory yet heavy with the sense of loss such a well-lived life leaves.
Prince transitioned from this life on July 12, 2026, and while we have been praying for his family these past weeks, his being laid to rest today makes his homegoing final in a truly devastating way. We continue to lift up his family in prayer.
Prince was more than a musician to us. For over a decade, he served as our Chief Organist — the sound of our worship, the spirit behind our praise. Even after he and his family relocated to Tennessee, he remained our son.
We understand that we do not make a public post for every beloved member we lose, and each soul is precious to us. This tribute is given because Prince’s life was one of far-reaching public impact.
His ministry extended beyond our pulpit. God gifted him abundantly as an organist, vocalist, sound engineer, and music producer. He freely shared that gift to help strengthen the music and sound of many ministries, and he used his platform to promote and uplift many Liberian gospel recording artists. In every space he entered, he left a mark — not just through music, but through a life lived with humility, humor, and grace.
We have lost a son, a musician, a minister of music, and a beautiful soul. Heaven has gained a worshipper who can now worship without end.
To his family — we love you, we are standing with you, and our prayers remain with you in the days ahead.
Rest well, Prince. Your music, your laughter, and your legacy will live on in us.
