On a day where many are remembering to pick up their 12 pack, others remember their loved ones who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their freedom. At least that is how we are supposed to think. But from the war in Vietnam on, to present day, there has not been a war worth fighting for peace where America is concerned. Now for oil and opiates absolutely. It is time we stop calling these loved ones we've lost, heroes, and look at them for what they truly are; victims. Today if you are remembering a loved one you have lost, I would like you to think of the future generations who we will lose due to greedy politicians and corporations that own the military. The military is a business, it is about money. The reason why vets are not taken care of when they return is because they are not supposed to return. To the people in power, they are supposed to be a casualty of war. Remember that when your child comes home from school to tell you that they had military recruits in their lunch room trying to convince them to sacrifice their lives for "freedom". Children in schools should not be being recruited by the military with false promises of a better life to come. Remember the lives lost, remember the lives lost that are yet to come. Remember that you can stand up and help stop this. Think much deeper into the reality of what war is really about. Money.
