Our son Jacob was born almost 7 weeks early, he was beautiful at almost 5 pounds, he spent 2 weeks in the NICU while we were a nervous wreck. He came home and flourished fast into a beautiful chubby boy. He spent 18 months making me the happiest mommy. Tragically Mothers Day weekend 2007 he left us for Heaven. You always hear about accidental drownings and think it couldn't happen to you. Well, it
did to us and I am STILL dumbfounded by it. We still struggle with our loss. Our friends decided to throw us a benefit to help us financially after funeral costs and being scammed by a headstone company. We decided to honor his name and help other children by paying that forward. Every year we have a beef n beer for a chosen family who has a child in need in Bucks County. We are currently applying for our non profit status and have many ideas of ways to make our Foundation bigger and bigger and spread his name everywhere. He struggled to get here and he left way to early but he continues to leave hope and love everywhere even from Heaven. Mommy & Daddy, Haley, Ryan & Shane love you Jacob and we will continue to honor you until we see you again.
