Hi everyone! I will be doing a name change to this group very shortly. One of the board members that I started this with no longer wants to participate in outreach and out of respect for that person, even though I did the logo and name, I feel that it would be best to start from scratch on the name and re-file the paperwork for the 501(c)(3).

The vision for this nonprofit is to help those that are experiencing homelessness and/or suffering from a substance use disorder, or just anyone down on their luck. The goal is to supply them with the tools they need to get off the streets, or in recovery, or to just help guide them in making better choices. We want to spread love, kindness, compassion and awareness each time we go out for outreach.

We plan to go out solo, and with other nonprofits to make this goal achievable! We cannot do this, if we don’t all band together!

Today we went to Kensington to give out new jackets, new boots, gloves, hats, socks and blankets before the temps drop below freezing. We usually go to McPherson Park, but today there was not one soul in the park.

We decided to head to Prevention Point but then noticed a handufl of people in tents on the side road, so we decided to set up there! Many more people came by and we were able to hand out over 60 jackets, 23 boots, and countless gloves, socks, and blankets! We also were able to tell the people we helped where code blue emergency shelters were going to be.

Thank you to everyone who donated so many winter items!!

Went with a filled car and came back with nothing but empty boxes and bags!

Thank you once again to the local Oxford Valley Girl Scouts Troop ranging from Daisy to Cadets for collecting hats, gloves, scarves and socks, at their holiday party last Friday! With your generous donation, you are going to keep so many homeless warm, this winter! Thank you!

These will be handed out on Christmas Eve morning in Kensington.
