Our first annual Tiny Tok Event will be taking place on January 29th at Miller’s Ale House in Levittown, NY from 12-5pm EST. This event will be in support of two amazing charities, The UnBreakableBrooke Foundation and the NYPD With Arms Wide Open. The specific purpose of the Corporation is to provide awareness and support of families and/or individuals who are affected or are medically complex in
providing innovative solutions and assist in the implementation of adaptive resources to improve quality of life. NYPD With Arms Wide Open is a 503c organization created for active and retired cops of all ranks who are navigating life with special needs and medically complex children. As there are no dues or fees for member families, fundraising events just like ours is what helps each NYPD family who expresses a need to the group. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 in support of these two charities. The proceeds will be split evenly amongst the two. With the money donated to the UnbreakableBrooke Foundation, it would allow the foundation to sponsor 1 family per month with adaptive PowerWheel cars. The money donated to With Arms Wide Open will go towards financial aid opportunities for services, therapies, medical equipment and other out of pocket expenses that can put a family into bankruptcy. WAWO also provides social and emotional support for member families through multiple events throughout the year. In order to meet this, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals like yourself. In this first year, we will rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support.
