Design Wall Housing (DWH) is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes, within the meaning of IRS Publication 557 Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”) or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The DWH charitable purpose is providing safe and affordable housing to those impacted by homelessness which align with the defin

ition of charitable fromIRS.gov, as given below:
“The term charitable is used in its generally accepted legal sense and includes relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; er****on or maintenance of public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.”
MISSION STATEMENT: DWH provides housing and facilitates the progression of growth for individuals impacted by homelessness. VISION: The DWH vision is to end homelessness in our area as to impact the broader global issue. Board members oversee and approve all decisions, and formulate strategic goals, as well as oversee the health of the organization. OBJECTIVES:
To provide the physical structure for individuals that are impacted by homelessness
To provide a physical structure that is safe and affordable
To provide an opportunity for stability as a byproduct of quality housing

As we continue working to support and strengthen our community through housing and advocacy, we are honored to stand alongside organizations across Maine dedicated to creating positive change.

We will be here today until closing, and we will be here Saturday and Sunday 9-5. ice cream truck will join us Saturday from 1-3pm, come donate to a great cause and get some free icecream! We are thrilled to announce our 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser! This is your chance to win big while helping us build a more supportive future for our neighbors in need of stable housing.

Only three days away. We are soooo Excited for another great weekend at Damon's Beverage and Redemption Bangor for DWH's April 2026 Bottle Drive .
📅 WHEN: Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28
🕘 TIME: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Daily
📍 WHERE: Damon’s Beverage & Redemption, Bangor
Whether you have five minutes to drop off a bag or a few hours to lend a hand, every single bottle helps us build sustainable housing solutions right here in our backyard.

3 Ways You Can Help:
Volunteer at Damon’s: We need enthusiastic folks to help us receive and process donations throughout the weekend. It’s fun, fast-paced, and makes a huge difference!
Host a Mini-Drive: Be a neighborhood hero! Collect returnables from your street, office, or church group and bring the haul to Damon’s during the event.
Donate Your Bottles: Clean out the garage or basement and drop your returnables off to us at the tent!
