Leslie Area Historical Society and Museum The museum contains displays, records and artifacts from Leslie and the surrounding communities. Click on the Page Info for more information.

Open 11-2 every Thurdsday and the third Satuday of the month from 11-2. Other hours by appointment. The staff of the museum is made up of volunteers available to guide visitors and help with research. The Historian, with the help of staff, carries out the Society's mission to preserve and index all the museum's historical records and artifacts. Over 136 donors have contributed items to the museum.

Included is the largest collection in existence of Holling Clancey Holling's work. Reference sections include Leslie Local Independent and a few Leslie Local Republican books, Leslie Weekly Guardian papers, map, genealogy information, Histories of Michigan and area towns, some school year books and files on a variety of topics. Board Members include: Sheryl Hemstreet, President; Tim Howery, Vice President; Nancy Babin, Secretary; Treasurer; Trustees, Jerry Garfield, Eva Rude and Wayne Babin.

UPCOMING::April 16, 7:00 PM History of the Interurban. Norm Krental, an expert and researcher has an updated program and has published a book on the Northern Line, (through Leslie, Rives, Mason, Holt). I have attended several of Norm's presentation. He will have books with a ton of photos and research he has gather together. This has been Very Well attended in the past. Leslie Township Hall 7:00 PM April 16 More coming soon.
