We're starting to gear up for the 2017 Wichita County Fair which starts on Wednesday July 26 and ends on Saturday, July 29! If you'd like to volunteer to work a ride, game or booth...please contact an Amusement Association member or maybe leave your information here. There are more than enough shifts for everyone!

After Wichita County Amusement Association volunteers talked with Congressman Billinger yesterday, it has been decided that the 2017 Wichita County Carnival is going to go on with business as usual starting on Wednesday, July 26-Saturday, July 29.

It will soon be time to start lining up volunteers to man the rides, game booths and food stands!!

Thank you to everyone who has been asking questions regarding the state legislature's new law that will govern all carnivals (including hometown-owned carnivals like the WHCO Carnival) and how it will effect us. For this year, the legislature has delayed the law's implementation until July of 2018. But please know that the WHCO Amusement Association has always and will always do whatever is necessary to make our carnival as safe as we can.

The Wichita County Fair dates for 2017 are Wednesday, July 26- Saturday, July 30. Make plans to join us!

It's the first day of the carnival!!! As of right now, the carnival is going on as planned. I hope this helps and, as always....HAVE A GREAT TIME AT THE FAIR!!!

It's getting to be "that time" of the year again! The rides and games need volunteers to make them successful. Please don't be afraid to call the operator of your favorite ride/game and offer your time. Otherwise, we may not know you're interested. Need to know who is in charge of which ride/game? Just ask here...I will be happy to hook you up!
