State and federal laws are not keeping up. That means LOCAL leadership matters more than ever.

Data centers can affect our land, water, electricity, and tax dollars. Mass surveillance technology raises serious questions about privacy and government power.

So what can Harrison County do RIGHT NOW?

Join Sarah Blessing and James Coogle on Sept. 3 to learn what is happening and what citizens can do locally to protect our community.

This is a NONPARTISAN event. Republicans, Democrats, Independents — everyone is invited.

Our community belongs to all of us. Let’s protect it together.

🏳️‍🌈 PrideFest is going back where it belongs: the heart of Loogootee.

After years of legal battles, a federal court struck down the city's unconstitutional event restrictions and ordered PrideFest back to Public Square. That means PrideFest 2026 is officially on for Sept. 5. 🎉

This is a win for PrideFest, free speech, and the statewide LGBTQ+ community.

For the Love of Dolly

For the Love of Dolly

Tonight, Tell City City Hall is shining pink in memory of Dolly Parton.

Dolly meant so much to so many people. We all know the music, the laughter, the big personality and the way she never forgot where she came from.

But her impact was felt right here in Tell City, too.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the United Way of Perry County, children in our community have received books in the mail from birth to age five. Because of Dolly, families right here in Tell City have shared bedtime stories, learned first words and created memories that will last a lifetime.

That may be one of the greatest parts of her legacy.

She used her success to give back, to help children dream bigger and to put books into the hands of kids she would never meet.

Tonight, when you see City Hall glowing pink, I hope you will think about the lives she touched, including so many right here at home.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the love you showed to children everywhere.💗And most of all, for reminding all of us to dream more, learn more, care more and be more.

Tonight, Tell City shines pink for you.
Rest in peace, Dolly Parton.
We will always love you. 💗

📢 DATA CENTERS. FLOCK CAMERAS. MASS SURVEILLANCE. These are big issues, and the public deserves to understand what is happening.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about our community, our tax dollars, our privacy, our natural resources, and our freedom.

Indiana is encouraging the development of large data centers. That makes it even more important for local communities to understand what protections we can put in place for our water, land, electricity, air, and quality of life.

At the same time, more Flock cameras and other surveillance technology are being purchased with public dollars. We should understand what these systems do, what information they collect, and what say the public has in how they are used.

The more informed we are, the better we can ask questions, speak up, and encourage our local and state leaders to listen.

So we’re opening the doors for a PUBLIC DISCUSSION, and everyone is welcome.

📅 Thursday, September 3

🏢 6–7 PM — DATA CENTERS
What does state law mean for our community, and what can counties do to protect local residents?

📷 7–8 PM — FLOCK CAMERAS & MASS SURVEILLANCE
What are these systems doing, how are our tax dollars being used, and what can citizens do to have a voice?

📍 219 West High Street, Corydon, Indiana
Across from Constitution Elm

Come for one discussion or both.

Bring your questions. Bring your concerns. If you have information we should know, bring that too. This is a conversation, and we want to hear from you.

We live in a free country. Staying free requires citizens who are informed, involved, and willing to speak up. 🇺🇸

Please SHARE this event and SAVE THE DATE so more people in our community know what’s happening.
