Stop the Mid-States Corridor from Uprooting Southern Indiana
Indiana’s farmland, forests, and tight-knit communities are under threat. The proposed Mid-States Corridor, one of the largest and most expensive highway projects in Southern Indiana’s history, will cost more than $3 billion and could require more than 3,000 acres for construction.
Its preferred route threatens homes, heritage farms, family businesses, churches, natural wetlands, and forests along its path.
Families face not just the loss of property, but the loss of the places that define their way of life. Residents of Southern Indiana are standing together to raise awareness and amplify the voices of those whose communities are at risk.
We cannot let this project move forward.
