The LHS Boosters are dedicated to supporting the entire LHS Band Program though fundraising, events and community involvement. The Leonardtown High School Band Boosters are a non-profit organization that supports all of the band programs at Leonardtown High School. They are active in fundraising and provide volunteer support at band functions and events. All parents and family members are welcome to be a part of the booster organization.

✨️What instrument did you enjoy most in band? Clarinet

✨️Who has inspired or supported you most during your band journey? My parents have supported me by volunteering, my mom by being the uniform lead and my dad by helping with props/pit on competition days. My best friends Kendall and Annabelle have also supported me and made marching band so much fun.

✨️ One word to describe your marching band experience. Friendship

✨ What’s Next after High School: I plan to go to college and nursing school, working as a pediatric oncology RN in the future.

✨️Who has inspired or supported you most during your band journey? my parents and techs have inspired me the most throughout my journey. Seeing people that have been through marching band and have been to higher levels of it like dci made me want to push myself to that level too.

✨ What’s Next after High School: I'm likely going to college to get a teaching degree for history, but something related to politics is also on the table

✨️What instrument did you enjoy most in band? Definitely Trumpet, I have been playing it the longest and have had by far the best time with the trumpet.

✨️Who has inspired or supported you most during your band journey? My friends and Mr. Martin, they have kept me going even when I feel like I want to quit and have made me strive to be the best person I can be

✨️ One word to describe your marching band experience. Worthwhile, I would be lying if I said that marching band wasn't one of the most fun activities I have done and I regret not doing it sooner!

✨ What’s Next after High School: I am going to go off to college to pursue a degree in Music Education and continue to grow my love for music.
