Leon Park & Rec

Leon Park & Rec The Park & Rec board is responsible for the overall management of the city parks, as well as the city's municipal swimming pool.

We coordinate the flag football program for the 2nd and 3rd graders as well as other activities throughout the year.

Leon pool will close for the season Aug 22nd at 6:00 pm (there is a scheduled pool party from 6-8 that evening) This is the LAST weekend (and a HOT one) to come cool off and enjoy a day at the pool! ☀️

⚽️ U6 soccer parents. You will have games against Lamoni on the 9th of August in Leon and the 16th of August in Lamoni. Possible games on the 23rd in Lamoni as well. Additionally the two U6 teams will play each other two times in Leon in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for game times on this page and from your coaches as well!
