What a fun way to wrap up our week at the Leon Senior Center! ❤️

We enjoyed some beautiful hymns today and even got in a little line dancing! Shelia and Rylee joined in on the dancing, and we had plenty of smiles and laughter to go around.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend! We’ll see everyone back at the Center on Tuesday!

At the football game tomorrow, the Bluestem After Prom is serving hamburger/cheeseburger meal deals for $7 each. This will be the special for the Humboldt/Little Lions Cheer Camp football game. This meal deal will be cash only.

‼️HELP!! 🐱‼️

Although our main focus has been getting our dogs socialized and adopted, we still have over 40 cats to care for as well!!!

LOW ON WET CAT FOOD!!

We go through quite a bit of wet cat food each day in order to keep our cats hydrated with this insane heat. We are down to half a box of friskies left to last us the rest of the week 🚩

If you are able to help donate towards our cats care we would GREATLY appreciate it!! We typically feed our kitties Friskies Patè - any flavor, and we would be thankful for any kind of wet cat food! We also have a couple cats on Fancy Feast Patè.

What a busy, fun-filled Wednesday at the Leon Senior Center!

We had a little bit of everything going on today! We started our morning with Bible Study, followed by Book Club, and we were happy to welcome special guest Pete Ferrell to spend some time with us.

Lunch had a great turnout, and we even had a few extra-small special guests join us today! It was wonderful seeing several generations gathered around the tables together, enjoying good food, conversation, and plenty of smiles.

Days like today are exactly what we love to see at the Senior Center — a full house, lots of activity, and our community spending time together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! We hope to see you again soon at the Leon Senior Center!
