The history of Leominster

The Leominster Historical Society is a private, nonprofit organization consisting of dedicated volunteers who assist the public in learning about Leominster's past, and a dues-paying membership who enjoy history in general, and the city's history in particular.

The Leominster Historical Society presents our important Annual Meeting, open to all members and the public, tomorrow June 17, from 6-9 pm. There will be a short address from the president of the society, the nominations and voting for Board members and Trustees, and a fun presentation by Mark Bodanza and Steve Leger. We'll provide appetizers, drinks, and two big exhibit rooms to explore. Plenty of experts on hand to answer questions. We are always open to new members and we want to hear your ideas! Share the news, bring a friend.

yearbooks that need a new home. Would you like one of these books?

Two barns in Leominster, photos from the past. Anyone recognize them?

I'm working on a book about lost barns of New England. I'm wondering if anyone in this group can tell me if these barns in Leominster are still standing?
