Playgroup information:
Little Seedlings Playgroup is open to parents/caregivers, and young children aged 1-5. We meet in two different locations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Playgroups are a great opportunity for children to learn socialization skills. We encourage active parent participation, as parents are the child's first and most important teacher. Playgroup leaders assist with ma

king playgroup a positive play experience, offering a chance for free play, science/exploration activity, open ended crafts, story, and music & movement. Family Fun Nights are offered monthly in collaboration with the Leominster Library at different schools throughout Leominster. They offer a story followed by a fun, open-ended art activity. The Parent-Child Home Program is a home visitation program, focusing in on school readiness. We work with families twice-a-week for two years. Bringing a new book or educational toy each week, and our trained Home Visitors model reading, play and conversation activities for parent and child together. This helps create a language and literacy-rich home environment for children to thrive in. This month’s Family Fun Night, a collaborative between Project Apples/ Leominster CFCE and Leominster Public Library, examined the theme of Flowers & Pollination, featuring activities such as creating natural flower bouquets and dried flower arrangements, participating in a pollination, adventure with the bee jiggle, dissecting flowers, and matching them to a natural color wheel. A huge, thank you to Sunkissed Stems for the kind flower donation they made our evening were special!
