“To miss her is an understatement.”
Hillary was special. An amazing daughter, sister, wife, granddaughter, niece, cousin, auntie, friend and human - she was always looking for ways to help someone.
Today marks the 4th angel-versary since we lost Hill. This foundation was built by close friends and family of Hill’s, to help carry on the amazing things she was doing here - yes, it takes a whole team of us to try to fill her chucks! We’ve raised money each year, and donated to countless families, groups, schools, and programs. We’ve purchased safety GPS bracelets for children with Autism. We’ve participated in polar plunges, awareness walks, and other community events. We’ve provided scholarships to students following an early childhood education path. We’ve donated hundreds of lbs of food to the MWCC Food Pantry as well as full meals for families in need around the holidays. Since Covid-19 began, we’ve purchased PPE products, school supplies and provided hot and contactless delivery meals to families in need.
While we must follow social distancing and safety guidelines right now, and cannot host our usual events or attend our usual events, we are still working hard behind the scenes to plan for ways to help children and families in memory of Hillary each and every day. Thank you for your continued support of the mission of this foundation in memory of Hillary A. (Bartlett) Newsome.
Our hearts are with the Bartlett family today, and everyday, as well as with all who knew and loved Hillz. 💖💫
