North County Land Trust North County Land Trust protects land and habitat for the people, plants, and wildlife of north central Massachusetts.

Through conservation, environmental stewardship, and programs, we seek to make our natural home healthy, happy, and welcome to all. NCLT fulfills its land conservation mission by facilitating land conservation projects that benefit landowners and communities, by its stewardship of public access conservation land and by promoting conservation through environmental education programs and nature hike

s. We offer guided nature hikes on our conservation areas in Fitchburg, Gardner, Hubbardston, Princeton and Templeton. We also offer environmental education programs to children and families, in partnership with local schools and community groups.

Climate change is affecting our region's forests, waters, wildlife, and communities. How did we get here? What challenges lie ahead?

An infographic from the Union of Concerned Scientists tracks major fossil fuel companies' knowledge of climate change and considers corporate accountability for the climate crisis.
