Well, it’s official, folks—we have our Townsend State Forest Buzz Drop winners! Congratulations to this week’s super sleuths, Ashley and Greg Mauro, for finding the prize!

Thank you to each and every one of you who came out and joined the search. We received so much great feedback this week, and it was so much fun watching everyone interact with the clues and put their detective skills to work. That’s exactly what our Buzz Drops are all about, and it’s what makes doing this so worthwhile.

Thank you again, everybody, and we can’t wait to see you at the next one. Until then, keep those sleuthing skills sharp, because you never know where the next Buzz Drop will lead you next!

Happy Tuesday, everybody! It’s that time again—clue time! To help narrow things down, I suggest downloading the AllTrails app and finding the Townsend Quarry Loop. That would be a good starting point.

Just a reminder: The prize you seek is never buried, so there is no need to dig. Please leave the trails exactly as you found them, bring plenty of water and bug spray, and always let someone know where you’re going.

There is never any need to dig. What you’re looking for will always be something you can stumble upon.

Bring plenty of bug spray — trust us, you’re going to need it out there! 😂 Make sure someone knows where you’re going, bring plenty of water, and please leave the trails exactly how you found them. 🌲
