Okay folks,we're one month away from Rockin For Nuzz VI. This year is going to be quite different than our past events. This...is gonna be the BLUES BASH your parents told you about. Maybe some of you have even experienced one of these so,you already know,it's gonna be AWESOME.
First...we have our hosts,Tony Soul,and his beautiful wife Sherry and their family. I have a MILLION words I could use here,but,I'm just going to thank them from all of us right now and let you all just see and hear for yourselves why we teamed up with them.
LUNCH ! Jonno and Leah from Joey's Limousine are going to be doin a little magic, Regatta Deli STYLE!!! Nuzz and I probably ate a couple hundred of those bad boys together,so,it seems PERFECT for the occasion(SHOULD cover 50-100 of us)...however,we're encouraging everyone to treat this like a good ol fashioned backyard party... 'Cause IT IS! There is no grill available,if anyone wants to bring one and run it,do it,but let me know in advance, and we'll get some meat to throw on it.Bring a little somethin,chips,treats n whatnot and throw it all on the tables,and we'll be MONEY.
Now,as for adult beverages...you're on your own, stock up before you land. And as ALWAYS,drink responsibly,PLEASE GOD don't hurt yourself or anyone else.Oh,You're in the tank? HAND OVER THOSE KEYS,to this,there will be NO debate.Beyond that,HAVE AT IT!!!
While we have considerably less raffles this time around,the ones we're rollin with are going to be KILLER. And there will be a few QR codes stations that will allow you to contribute directly to The Joseph "Nuzzy" Nozzolillo Memorial Foundation.
Now,to my FAVORITE part...the music...we're gonna have members of,Heavens to Zeppelin, Youngblood Revival, Roadhouse Romeos, The Mighty King Snakes,BOLO for a couple of those fellas from Cathedral possibly too.......and of course, The Tony Soul Project. Kristin and I have seen them over 30 times in the past 7 years,kinda says it all,no? Many of you have enjoyed them with us,and if you haven't,you are in for a really entertaining and memorable moment you will hopefully remember for a long time.We'll be gathering some of the area's finest Blues musicians all in one place all at ONE TIME!

Musicians notes:

Drums ---will provided by the one an only Brian LeDuke- so,cymbals,sticks,pedals,and thrones should be all you need...oh...and a GONG

Tom Sheppard and I will both have our bass rigs on site for the day,so, basses and pedals(if you're into those)

Dr. David Harlan was invited to Breakthrough T1D headquarters to participate in a Delphi process with a handful of worldwide diabetes experts to plan a scientific publication about who will benefit from current & future pancreatic islet cell replacement therapies.

A Delphi panel is a method for achieving consensus among experts on a specific topic. Monday’s gathering included researchers from academic institutions, industry, and a T1D patient.

The Diabetes Center of Excellence at UMass Chan Medical School and the Breakthrough T1D Center of Excellence in New England, led by Dr. Harlan, is focused on engineering stem cell-derived pancreatic islets to develop a cell replacement therapy that will evade the immune system and provide insulin independence for people living with type 1 diabetes, without the need for toxic immunosuppressant drugs.

You know what, I've been doing this all wrong. It occurred to me that all these years that I've been shooting for this big production bullsh*t,It's been killin my mojo,like,REALLY BAD. Let's be real here,my sweet spot is just throwin a party...so.......
This year Rockin For Nuzz will NOT be an event,instead,I'm just gonna throw a FULL THROTTLE BLUES BASH!!!! Remember those?! Yea,me too. Meet us on Saturday June 7th from HIGH noon-Until we all get kicked out.......
I believe this will be a better way for us to remember great times we all spent with Joe "NUZZ". We're gonna gather on PRIVATE PROPERTY this time around too, And it is going to be GLORIOUS!!!
We are ALSO excited to announce that we will be having our first ever co-hosts!!! The folks we have chosen are well known to all of you,and even MORE well known for putting SOUL into our lives day in and day out. That's right The TonySoulProject!!!,
Tony and Sherry Parente's house will be this year's venue/co-hosts!!! You will have only 3 ways to get the address,for discretion purposes we will NOT be posting it ANYWHERE in the ads. You must DM myself, Kristin,or Sherry,and,

Michael Brehm, PhD, treated his laboratory members to VIA Italian Table during their weekly lab meeting to kick off the New Year & celebrate their dedication to our research. He invited the UMass Chan Medical School Pappas Stem Cell Differentiation Core who create the insulin-producing islets used in our human type 1 diabetes studies. Quality people conducting world-class science!

Yes! Johnny Hot Dogs is IN...in addition to the wonderful food from the Lilac Hedge Farm itself....Johnny will be joining us after his first gig...he should get there about 3pm!
