With summer time quickly approaching, we think it would be great time to serve as a mentor for a youth in need! We are actively seeking mentors dedicated to making a difference in our community!

Caldwell Friends is a youth mentoring program serving at risk youth aged 6-18! Our non-profit mentoring program operates similar to Big Brother Big Sister in that we match a trained adult mentor with a youth! During their time together, they each help one another grow as they learn from one another, problem solve, experience more out of life, and hopefully form long lasting bonds!

While we have several youth in line already and an ever expanding desire to spread the most cheer and do the most good for the youth in our community, the harsh reality is that we simply cannot operate if we do not have the volunteer mentors that have the courage, desire, and commitment needed to truly have a lasting impact on the lives of the youth. This is why we are reaching out to each of you so you can share our message with others throughout our county and perhaps inspire some of you to take on the role of a mentor or encourage others to become involved!

Again we cannot serve youth and reach our programs' fullest potential without mentors!

Exciting News Everyone!!

We know life can be super chaotic and sometimes we do not want to take the first step to reach out, so.... we thought a better way to garner more program participants than to streamline our application and transform what once was just a paper copy to an online, editable version that will notify us as soon as it is completed!

Caldwell Friends is an at-risk mentoring program for youth in our county aged 6-18! Although we have a small, but mighty, staff consisting of only three individuals, our main goal is to help as many youth as we can! Our program operates similar to Big Brothers Big Sisters but on a smaller, countywide level! Through our program, a youth is matched with a trained adult mentor who serves as a role model for them and helps them navigate challenges that they may face! As we all know, life is a bit challenging at times and we all can benefit from someone to help us out! Our mentors and mentees learn and grow together, experience new adventures together, and face challenges together so they do not have to go through it alone!

Hi Everyone!

Come get a cobbler from us at the Blackberry Festival! These are the only cobblers we have left out of 500 made!! They won’t last long!!

Caldwell Friends would like to take a moment to honor one of our mentees, Hannah Aldridge! Tonight, Hannah graduated from West Caldwell High School! She has been a mentee of the program for almost a year and has made such huge advances during her time in the program! We are immensely proud of her and are so fortunate to have her in our program!

Soon, Hannah will become not only a mentor herself but also a staff member of the program! We are so honored to have her and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes in the future!
