So great to get emails from different children's groups wanting to help with cleaning up Wilson Creek! For this Spring (starting in April) we are wanting a group per month to help with the clean! Very sad holiday announcement to post. One of our originals and starters of Wilson Creek Keepers has passed away. We are truly saddened. Kevin Knight was an asset to this gorge and our community. If you did not get the chance to meet Kevin at one of the clean ups or just hiking through the forest. You have most certainly enjoyed his photography work in the Wilson Creek Visitor Center, our store or on the Brown Mountain Beach Website. There is not enough time in the day to write all the amazing things Kevin did for this area. He will truly be missed. Can't wait to see the pictures he is taking now!
