2025 Piedmont Council Scout Cards are here! These are multiuse discount cards for area restaurants and attractions. Message me which ones you’d like to purchase. $10 each. Our Troops/Crew has cards for Caldwell, Burke, Hickory, Catawba, Alexander and McDowell Counties. The Caldwell card even has the SkyZone trampoline park!! Some even has Carowinds! What a deal! Tell your family and friends!!

Have you heard? Our local Scout America Troop 254 Lenoir, Scout BSA Girl Troop 1254 Lenoir and Crew 263 are selling Pecatonica River Popcorn as their Fall Fundraiser. I know this is a tremendously difficult time for all, but think about how hard it is on our youth now-a-days to raise funds to go to camp or do other fun activities! Please consider supporting our Scout Youth by purchasing popcorn. As you can tell from the order form, the Scouts are selling from a different company this year. The flavors and the prices are much better. As a plus, each purchase of pre-popped popcorn comes in a reusable tub or tin. Let me know if you’d be interested in making a purchase to help our Scouts!

Funds go to supporting the adventures of local boys and girls of Scouts BSA. For Troop 254 Lenoir and Scout BSA Girl Troop 1254 Lenoir, it was a chilly hike down to Upper Creek Falls on Saturday. Afterwards the scouts played games and ate a delicious dinner by the camp fire before turning in. With temperatures dropping to around 25 degrees, the scouts woke early to pack up their gear and went snow tubing at Jonas Ridge Family Snow Tubing Park. Thanks to all who made this happen!! The scouts had lots of fun!

On Saturday November 18, area Scouts with Scouts BSA will be collecting food for their annual Drive Thru Food Drives from 10-1pm. All food collected will be donated to local food pantries. Look for Girl’s Troop 1254 and Boys Troop 254 at the end of the parking lot of Walmart in Lenoir. Cub Pack 254 will be at the end of the parking lot of Food Lion on Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir. Other scouts will be at the Food Lion on Morganton Blvd, Lenoir and at the Food Lion in Hudson as well as the Walmart in Granite Falls. Food donated at Lenoir locations will go to Yokefellow and those in Hudson and Granite Falls will go to South Caldwell Christian Ministries. Please consider making a donation to help our communities. Some suggested items: all canned goods like soups, beef stews, chili, meats, fruits, vegetables, pasta, dry goods, pet food and pet snacks. Homemade goods or open products can not be accepted. Thank you for your support!!
