Let me tell everyone about something special that happened today. We received a call from one of the high schools. A young man was in need. The counselor stated that the young was in need of a pair of shoes, cowboy boot to be specific. That is all he wears, and his boots were no longer serviceable. So, my wife and I went to Sigmon's Fashions in Hudson. It is my favorite place to shop. Their staff knows just what old time customer service is. You don't find that much in today's world. The whole staff so helpful in making this young man's day. Thank you, Sigmon's Fashion, in helping Hearts and Soles 4 Kids make this young man's day brighter. So, if you happen to stop by say hi and tell them thank you.

This evening rates way up there. I was caught off guard tonight when I was awarded Caldwell County Volunteer of the Year. I am just a little spoke on a great big wheel. The reward I have received in hugs, smiles, high 5's and thank yous are so precious to me. The staff and students at Baton Elementary school make is so much fun for me. I am humbled and greatful they let me be apart of such a special place with amazing people.
I would like to encourage anyone that if you have any time no matter how little, your local school is a wonderful place to spend it. You will not regret it.

Making rounds yesterday. We got to drop off shoes at Sawmills Elementary. We got to meet the ne principle Ms Henline. I see great things for Sawmills, she is fired up and ready for a great school year.

Good after noon everyone and Happy Saturday August 19th. I would like to share some amazing things with everyone.
First people tell us all the time what a wonderful thing we do. It's not us; all the credit and glory goes to God. We are just the caretakers of his amazing purpose. You see God put this amazing burden on Betty's heart all we have done is step forward and follow.
Hearts and Soles 4 Kids is a God thing. Through it we get to bless kids one pair of shoes at a time. So do so many others through it.
No matter how hard a person or people try, you CAN'T out give God.
Like today, Shoe Senation in Granite had been doing a Shoe drive for Hearts and Soles. Betty and Tiffany went by to pick them up. While they were there Betty was approached by a couple and asked her if that was her car with the Hearts and Soles on the side. Betty said yea and told them what we do.They said we want to help and the bought a bunch of shoes for Hearts and Soles. See how special that was/is God layed something on their heart and they followed through. I want to thank that amazing family for the amazing blessing. With it, Hearts and Soles 4 Kids will be able to bless that many more of our school kids in Caldwell County. Thank you for for being a Jesus to us and so many kids

Hello everyone the school year here in Caldwell County is about to begin. We have been busy getting ready. We have not done it by ourself.
Hearts and Soles was presented with an amazing blessing by the Mulvale Baptist Vacation School.
Exela Pharma Sciences held a Shoe drive for the second year in a row. Exela has been a great supporter of Hearts and Soles 4 Kids
Also for the second year in a row Stellaergenes Greer also held a company wide Shoe drive. We are so greatful for their continued support.
As a side note if there is any clubs, church groups or company's that would like to help out with a Shoe drive please contact us. There is a great need here in Caldwell County.
