Tybrisa Books had a raffle for a beautiful fall wreath created by local artist Debbie Eller and donated the proceeds to our SafeNow program.

I know we haven’t updated in a little while but I wanted to let y’all know that our little program is still going! Our DSS partners keep us updated on which age groups are getting low in stored bags, and thanks to generous donations from the community, we are able to immediately put together/send out more bags. Also, we were blessed with these sweet handmade pillowcases so that each kid gets a new pillowcase of their own. Thank you!
(For anyone recently joining us, we provide these bags to DSS to give to children (divided into age groups) who are entering foster care- from donations of new items like books, crayons, toothbrushes, hair ties, small toys, shelf-stable snacks, stuffed animals, small
blankets, flashlights, deodorant, pencils, hand sanitizer, socks, water bottles, combs, etc.)

Delk 4 Law will NOT be open for bag pickup or drop off this morning. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. If you’d like to drop off or pick up today, send us a message and we’ll coordinate a time.

The response has been amazing. Thank y’all so much! 40 bags have been sent to DSS (several already in the hands of kids) and 9 more bags ready to go! (We also have lots of wish list items that have been donated to pack bags.) We are expecting a shipment of more bags today for those asking to pick up empty bags. Thank you! 🙏🏻🎒

If you have bags to turn in, you can bring them to Delk 4 Law on Monday or Wednesday between 9-12. Just an FYI: we’re moving offices to one down the hall, at the end left corner. Thank you for all the support!
