As March is wrapping up, we wanted to share with you some of the things our club was able to do for our community this month. We hope this helps you understand our mission, and we would love for more community members to get involved in our club.

-Easter baskets for children in foster care at the Immanuel House in Loudon County🐣✝️

-Food donation to Cold Hands Warm Heart 🧤❤️

-Partnered with a local MOMS Club and donated towards their Shepherds Hope Food Pantry collection 🍪🥨🍿

-Treated LCES teachers to a flavored water bar to show our support for the countless ways they inspire the kids in our community 🍎👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

-Handed out snacks and smiles to kids at a community event during spring break 😀

Due to the weather and sickness we are moving our monthly meeting to next Tuesday, February 10th at 5pm. We will meet like usual at Roane State Community College, downtown Lenoir City.

Hello members and friends,

I want to personally invite you to our January meeting tomorrow, Tuesday January 6th, at 5pm at Roane State Community College in Lenoir City. We would love to have you if you are interested in finding out more about our club.

We will have a guest speaker, Julie Scruggs, Executive Director of A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee. You don’t want to miss this!

Our club was excited to deliver a Buddy Bench to Eaton Elementary School this morning with the help of Kiwanis Club of Tellico Village. Eaton students got involved and helped collect the plastic for this bench. Way to go Rockets! We hope that when students see it, they remember they are loved and supported by our clubs.

A heartfelt thank you to our members Don and Bonita Fowler for hosting a Christmas party for our club this evening. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and gratitude for the opportunity we have to make a positive impact on the children in our community.

Today, at Farm Bureau Insurance Lenoir City the Kiwanis Club of Loudon County was able to bless a lot of families with boxes of food. 100 gallons of milk, 100 dozen eggs, 100 loaves of bread, and a 100 blankets were distributed along with bags of food and jumbo hot dogs. Most importantly, many families received prayer for their needs.

Big thank you to Elm Hill for donating the smoked jumbo franks!

Big thank you to Food City for letting us sell bags of food to be donated!

Big thank you to Loudon County Schools for getting the food vouchers to the families in need! And Carol Miles Pickel for coordinating it.

Big thank you to Project Linus for donating the blankets!

And last but not least, thank you to all of those who showed up to make this project possible.

What a privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus! All glory to God for providing this opportunity! 🙌🏽

Come see us at Food City in Lenoir City! We are selling bags of food for $15. These are going directly to 100 families in Loudon County schools that need a meal this Thanksgiving.

We will be here until noon! Happy Thanksgiving!
