I’ve had dandelions on my mind for a while. So I thought I’d compare them as a flower to our spiritual walk. The next time you see dandelions I hope you have a new perspective on them. 😊
1.A dandelion is overlooked, walked on or called a w**d, but it carries a powerful picture of our spiritual walk.
A dandelion doesn’t choose where it grows but it still grows strong.
God placed you exactly where you are for a purpose.
Psalm 103:19, The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
2.Dandelions grow through cracks, sidewalks and the toughest ground.
We are called to grow even in difficult seasons.
James 1:2-3, Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
3.The bright yellow flower stands out in a field of green. Just like we are called to “shine” or “stand out” for Christ Jesus.
Matthew 5:14-16, You are the light of the world, let your light shine before others. 4.When the dandelions turns to seed they are released and carried by the wind.
We must release control and trust God with our lives.
Proverbs 3:5, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding.
5.Each dandelion seed has potential to grow into something new.
Our words and actions plants seeds in others.
1 Corinthians 3:6, I planted the seed, and Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.
6.Many see dandelions as w**ds, but they are useful and resilient.
Even when the world overlooks you, GOD sees your value.
1 Samuel 16:7, man looks at the outward appearance, but The Lord looks at the heart!
