The National 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador Program is designed to promote 4-H and 4-H Shooting Sports. Youth selected to serve as Ambassadors receive training that will allow them to return to their homes and advocate for the program at the county, regional, state and national level. The application is now available for 4-H Shooting Sports youth ages 14-19 (as of January 1, 2026) to apply to represent our great state at the national level. We ask that they be returned to [email protected] by no later than April 3. Please note that each state can only send up to two representatives. Should more than that be interested; the applications will be reviewed by a committee to determine who will attend. If you have additional questions, please reach out to Regina Bakley.

🌟 Celebrating an Incredible Year for Lincoln County 4-H Shooting Sports🌟

A huge thank you to SDSU Extension Lincoln County 4-H, MidwayUSA Foundation, and every single person who has supported our raffle drawings and program. Your generosity directly strengthens our shooting sports program and ensures that youth in our county have access to safe, high quality opportunities to learn, grow, and compete.

Because of this support, our team raised $5,500 for our MidwayUSA Foundation team endowment in 2025 — an achievement that earned us recognition through the Foundation’s Annual Rockstar Awards. We’re proud, grateful, and energized by what this means for our future.

Your contributions help us cover essential program needs such as targets, BBs, BB guns, air rifles, equipment maintenance, and other expenses, all while keeping participation costs low for our 4-H youth. This endowment will continue to grow and support shooting sports for future generations, ensuring that young people in Lincoln County always have a place to learn responsibility, discipline, and confidence through the sport we love.
