Inspiration is everywhere at a Toastmasters meeting. Members take turns serving in different roles each meeting to practice and refine their skills.

At our first meeting in March, these roles made us laugh with the Jokemaster, motivated us during Table Topics, and helped us learn something new through a speech about AI prompting. We even left feeling great after hearing positive feedback about our Lenexa club from a visiting Toastmaster from Minnesota.

Where do the Lenexa Toastmaster meet? 🤔 We meet inside the WaterOne Boardroom (kind of cool right?). We are a hybrid club, so members and guests are welcomed to join via Zoom as well. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Lenexa Club Toastmasters Annual Open House!

We were thrilled to welcome so many new faces into our meeting space at the WaterOne board room. Guests were treated to powerful, enlightening speeches by Kara and Matt. Ty did an excellent job as Toastmaster introducing roles like Jokemaster and Table Topics Master. Curious what those roles mean?

You can visit any of our upcoming meetings. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM at WaterOne. Just walk in the visitor entrance and turn right—our doors are open!

Congratulation to Lenexa Toastmasters Club member Rebeka Cook for her 1st place win in the International Speech Toastmasters Contest for Division K42 AND her second place win in the Speech Evaluation Competition.

Rebeka will be moving forward to the next level of competition on March 5th.
