Type 2 diabetes is a disease in which the body does not properly use insulin. Left unchecked, it can lead to premature death. Backed by a US$95,000 grant from LCIF, Lions in Illinois partnered with a local hospital to develop "Jumpstart Your Health," a type 2 diabetes prevention and lifestyle intervention program. https://bit.ly/3G2mWaR
