Rev. Tyler J Kaufmann is a spiritual leader, pastor, mentor, and community builder who currently serves as the Gathering Pastor of the Underground Community, a newly forming faith fellowship. In addition, Tyler is the Associate Pastor at Lenexa UMC. Before coming to Lenexa he served and preached across the country including churches in Nebraska, Hawaii, Montana, and New Jersey. He especially enjoyed the season of his life spent in service with the wonderful people at CUMAC (Center for United Methodist Aid to the Community) in Paterson, NJ. Brian Scarborough is Jazz Minister for the Underground Community. Brian has rounded up a collection of the Trombone and Low Brass Instructor at R.E.W. Music, Freelance Musician at Musician and Artist in Residence at Washburn University
Mary Lipp is Engagement Strategist & Video Producer for the Underground Community. Another Kansas City Area teacher, Mary is dedicated to bettering the KC Metro anyway she can. Mary is also the Kansas City Area Regent for the Harry Potter Alliance, which coordinates HP fans for equality, human rights, and literacy activism. Andrea Scarborough is the Underground Community’s Social Media Manager. Andrea works fulltime as a music teacher for KCK Public Schools. She is married to band leader Brian and serves as his gig manager. Additional Regulars:
