Those who are fortunate to have hearing can be allies of the Deaf and Hard of hearing. Please speak up when you notice no accomodations have been made. It is very tiring to advocate for ourselves every day. Thank you Shanna for a great article.

Kansans with disabilities need the able-bodied members of our communities to be allies for greater inclusion.

Use the hashtag Zoom to let Zoom know we are tired of waiting for free ASR captions on all its plans.

Please sign this petition so people with hearing loss have access to free captions when using Zoom. People do not need to pay for the wheelchair ramps to patronize businesses. Captions are like ramps to those who cannot hear well over the telephone and virtual video chats. Thank you for signing and please share.
