SMUUCh FUUD Pantry is a food pantry and food bank serving anyone in the Lenexa, Overland Park, and surrounding Kansas City areas who is in need of food. to ALL.
All food and care items are free. Hours are limited so please check. We serve all. We are a food pantry located in downtown Lenexa, Kansas operated by volunteers. We are affiliated with Harvesters and located at the **back** of the Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church. We are open every TUESDAY from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. No registration or ID is required. We continue to stay consistently busy each week even as the season cools down. Economically, things are not getting better for folks. The pantry currently must *purchase* roughly 22 percent of the food we offer to support our clients.
Please consider signing up for FUUD365, our monthly $ donor program. Even $20 a month can really help us better serve our clients and prepare for the winter months! Thank you.
While you are at the store this week, could you please pick up some of these? We have some bare spots on the shelves. Boxes of pasta are between $1.09 and $2.15 at Aldi! Diced tomatoes = $1.09, and muffin mix = $.75!

We are asking for BOOK DONATIONS. Specifically, children's books. However, we can take gently used books of all kinds. (Our volunteer can magically turn adult books into children's books!)

While the City of Lenexa, Kansas Government disappointed our community by refusing to open a much-needed permanent shelter, Barb and her mighty team of volunteers continue to demonstrate what "do unto others" really means.
As it turns 10 this year, the only homeless shelter in Johnson County continues to fulfill its mission, even in near-record-setting snow and frigid weather.

The Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church FUUD Pantry in Lenexa, Kan. opened in July 2020. We offer FREE canned foods and garden veggies (when available) to anyone who is hungry. There is NO residency requirement or language requirement. Open every Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. at 9400 Pflumm Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215. Look for the blue tents and the friendly volunteers in the parking lot.
