practice software, while cost-reduction firm Merchant Cost Consulting helps practices
reduce credit card processing fees.

Although they operate within the same industry, each company’s business model meets
different needs for AAO member practices. And as part of the AAO’s endorsement
agreement, OrthoPayment and Merchant Cost Consulting will each refer members to the
other organization if the member’s needs are better served by the other firm’s services. So
