Lena Fourth of July Celebration A family friendly Fourth of July celebration. It was started by then Lena Methodist pastor Bro. James Milner. Lena Fourth of July tshirts are in!!

The Lena Fourth of July Celebration began in 1977 as an ice cream social between Lena Methodist Church and Lena Baptist Church. It has grown over the years to be a family friendly day to celebrate our country's birthday. Each year the celebration involves games for the kids, local entertainment, home cooked food, arts & crafts fair, patriotic celebrations, political speeches, and a huge fireworks

display around 9:00 pm. We have them in red, white and gray in sizes 18 month to 4X. We also have a limited number of women's vneck shirts. The prices are as follows: kids shirts - $10, adult shirts (Small-XL) - $12, vneck shirts - $13, larger size adult shirts (2XL-4XL) - $14. Honor a Lena Hero!
The Lena community is proud to recognize local veterans through the 2026 Lena Fourth of July Hero Banner Program.
Each banner will honor a veteran from the Lena area and surrounding communities and will be proudly displayed during the Fourth of July Celebration, as well as Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
