Central Union Grange #559

Central Union Grange #559 Central Union Grange is located in Lemoore, CA. Membership is multi-generational. We firmly believe in the power of the Grange as a voice for rural people.

We meet on the third Monday of the month beginning at 7 PM in the Veteran's Memorial Hall. Central Union Grange #559 is a local unit of the California State Grange and the National Grange. Central Union Grange was organized in 1955 and has served Lemoore and the surrounding area through the years. We are nonpartisan, nondenominational, and welcome members of all ages who have an interest in agriculture, rural communities, and service.

💜 June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month.

We are working to ensure rural America isn't left behind as cutting-edge technology, treatments, and medications become available in urban areas across the country.
Last month, National Grange President Christine E. Hamp published an op-ed in the Washington Examiner calling for lawmakers to act to protect our rural communities in this fight.

Another California Agriculture related month is happening.

June is National Pollinator Month, and communities across America have a lot to thank pollinators for. Bees, butterflies, birds, bats, and other pollinators help support the crops and plants that feed our families, strengthen local agriculture, and keep ecosystems healthy.

Across the country, pollinators are essential partners in agriculture and food production. Without them, many of the fruits, vegetables, nuts, and flowers we rely on would struggle to grow.

This month, we are celebrating the small creatures that make a big impact on our communities and encouraging Granges everywhere to think about how we can support pollinator-friendly spaces in our hometowns.

A nice time was had at the CUG Friends and Family BBQ Picnic. Super-duper thanks to our friends from Riverdale Rural Community Grange for visiting us! We held our Spring Gift Card Raffle and gave away 15 gift cards from a variety of establishments.
