We had a great time celebrating the ribbon cutting and official opening of FitWorx Mt. View yesterday afternoon at their new location in the Fayette Business Park!

Fay-Penn is proud to have supported the FitWorx team with their relocation and rebrand. This exciting milestone marks a new chapter for a local business dedicated to improving health and wellness throughout Fayette County.

Formerly known as CrossFit Utown, FitWorx has expanded its mission beyond one style of fitness. The team focuses on helping people of all ages and abilities improve their quality of life through fitness, nutrition, accountability, and community.

Their new home in the Fayette Business Park provides room to grow while bringing new energy and activity to the park. FitWorx also adds to the growing community of businesses investing in Fayette County's future.

Thank you to the Fayette Chamber of Commerce for hosting the ribbon-cutting ceremony and bringing our community together to celebrate this exciting milestone!

It's time for our next staff spotlight! Today we're showcasing Bryce Landman, who works in commercial lending and economic development at Fay-Penn Economic Development Council.

Bryce helps local businesses access financing, explore growth opportunities, and move important projects forward. His responsibilities include underwriting commercial loans, managing portfolio relationships, meeting with clients, conducting site visits, preparing financing packages, and collaborating with community and economic development partners to support regional business growth.

Bryce earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Penn State Fayette and brings a strong background in business, entrepreneurship, and economic development. His experience in commercial lending, business outreach, financial analysis, and community development allows him to help businesses navigate financing opportunities and access resources for long-term success.

Passionate about building relationships and learning from local business owners, Bryce enjoys using finance as a tool to strengthen communities. He takes pride in supporting meaningful projects that help local businesses grow and take the next step.

Planning a Business Upgrade? Grant Funding May Be Available!

Fayette County small businesses looking to improve energy efficiency, upgrade equipment, or reduce waste may be eligible for funding through Pennsylvania's 2026–2027 Small Business Advantage Grant Program, administered by the PA Department of Environmental Protection.

The program offers reimbursement grants covering 50%–80% of eligible project costs, up to $7,500–$12,000, depending on the project and location.

Eligible improvements may include:
- HVAC system upgrades
- Energy-efficient lighting
- Equipment improvements
- Energy conservation projects
- Waste and pollution reduction initiatives

Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so businesses are encouraged to explore this opportunity as soon as possible.

Yesterday, the Fay-Penn Economic Development Council team had the opportunity to visit TSI Touch, an employee-owned technology manufacturer located here in Fayette County.

TSI Touch has a unique story. Originally established in 1989 as a division of a defense contracting company, the business became independent in 2011 and has grown into a leading manufacturer of touchscreen technology and protective solutions for commercial displays.

From interactive displays and video walls to customized touchscreen solutions used across multiple industries, TSI Touch is demonstrating that cutting-edge technology and innovation are happening right here in Fayette County!

What makes their story even more special is their employee-owned structure, commitment to quality, and ability to serve customers well beyond our region while maintaining their roots in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Member Spotlight: Montgomery Medical

Before Dr. Goisse opened Montgomery Medical, she saw what compassionate healthcare could mean to a community. Growing up in Fayette County, she watched her grandparents dedicate their lives to caring for others. Their example gave her a vision she would eventually bring home.

After 10 years of moving during her husband’s active-duty Navy service, Dr. Goisse returned to Fayette County determined to build an independent medical practice. Some in the local medical field questioned whether she would succeed. She moved forward.

In February 2013, Montgomery Medical opened with two people: Dr. Goisse and one medical assistant. Building the practice took sacrifice, persistence, and the support of her husband, who helped establish the team and culture that made its growth possible.

Today, Montgomery Medical has 10 providers and nearly 50 employees. But for Dr. Goisse, one of the most meaningful moments is when patients say, “Your grandfather would be proud.”

Those words connect the practice’s future to the family legacy that inspired it—and to the community she chose to serve.

Member Spotlight: Frontier Clinical Research, LLC

Kim Chapman has spent her life in Fayette County. While working with local physicians, she saw how limited access to medical treatment could leave patients searching for more options. She decided to help bring those options closer to home.

In 2016, Kim and Dr. Marcy Goisse founded Frontier Clinical Research. They started with one site. Today, Frontier is a six-facility clinical research network serving the tristate area.

As a 100% women-owned business, Frontier is especially proud to expand access to clinical studies in historically underserved communities. Its work gives people an opportunity to explore research options and contribute to the development of future treatments.
