The Grand River Pheasants Forever Chapter awarded the Gebhart Ranch with the Polaris Habitat Stewardship Award.
Pheasants Forever's mission is to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy.
As a chapter, we feel that the Gebhart family fulfills our motto through continued stewardship practices. We feel this way because not only do they provide public access to their land, but also, they continuously are in the pursuit of advancing and advocating for agriculture through land practices and promotion of sportsmen through things like trap, FFA, and land and range. The Gebhart family makes an exemplary example of what we believe and stand for!
With this award, they will be in the running for a new Polaris Ranger. We were fortunate to be able to recognize them at the banquet last night.
On behalf of the GRPF, congratulations! Thank you Gebharts for your continued commitment to stewarding our land to make it better for future generations!!
