Livestock shows are definitely not 100% serious! These girls were in the costume contest today at the Kentucky Junior Livestock Expo- Western Rivers at Murray State University.

Our four sheep show-women have been on the road! Congratulations on all the growth and improvements and for representing Grayson County well!

Schedules posted below for all KY Department of Agriculture District Shows and the three Kentucky Junior Livestock Expo events. Anyone interested in showing livestock at some point or just learning more about it is encouraged to attend a few shows. There is no charge for admission. Watching showmanship (usually the first classes at each show) will teach you HOW to show. Watching the weight classes will teach you more about how to select quality animals.

Club members and parents pitched in to clean up the livestock building at the Grayson County Fairgrounds today. The building is getting a face lift and animals will be displayed on Saturday during the fair! Thanks to Kevin Pharis and the fair board for their support! We are looking forward to teaching the community about agriculture and our projects!

Livestock Club meeting Rescheduled this month! We will meet only on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30pm at the GRAYSON CO FAIRGROUNDS near the pavilion!

Grayson County Livestock Exhibitors showcased their 2025 projects tonight during our annual awards night for the 2024-2025 4-H project year. They shared information with all attendees, answered questions, and motivated some new showmen for 2025.
And peep the newest member at the end... Caroline at her very first 4-H meeting!
Proud of these kids and their families! Looking forward to miles, memories, and awards in 2026!
