Join us at the Extension Office on April 29, 2026 at 11 AM for our first Food as Health Lunch & Learn. This free interactive workshop will explore the many ways food impacts health, and specifically in this workshop, how it helps manage diabetes. This engaging lesson, designed by nutrition experts, will equip you with practical tips and strategies for making better food choices to manage your blood sugar and maintain your health. We will discuss the role of food in blood sugar management, simple tips for meal planning and grocery shopping, as well as resources and tools to support your journey to better health.

The Grayson County Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce that we have awarded a $500,000 grant to the Grayson County Fiscal Court to support the construction of the new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Facility. We are grateful for the dedication of our EMS professionals and honored to play a role in advancing this important project for our community.

The Grayson County Healthcare Foundation is proud to award a $94,210 grant to the Grayson County Health Department to launch a new 🧡Community Health Worker Program🧡 right here in Grayson County.

This program will play a vital role in strengthening access to care by:
🔹 Connecting residents to essential services
🔹 Helping individuals overcome barriers to healthcare 🩺
🔹 Expanding support for physical, mental, and social well‑being

As part of this initiative, the Health Department will also offer the Kentucky Prescription Assistance Program, helping residents identify potential savings 💲and ensuring cost is never a barrier to needed medications 💊.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to building a healthier, more connected community. 🧡
