Our Executive Director, Brittany Clemons, attended the 5th Annual Nonprofit Roundtable in Elizabethtown on August 18th, joining nonprofit leaders from across the region for a day of learning and collaboration.

She was honored to serve on a panel with other foundation leaders, titled “Beyond the Grant,” where she shared practical tips with nonprofits on building strong, lasting relationships with funders. 💙 Her insights focused on communication and partnership—key elements that help nonprofits thrive.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to convene, connect, and collaborate with nonprofit partners and fellow foundation leaders. We’re grateful for spaces like this that strengthen our sector and inspire meaningful impact throughout our communities.

GCHF Executive Director, Brittany Clemons, attended the Grantmakers of Kentucky Conference this week and found it to be an incredibly valuable learning experience. Connecting with fellow grantmakers, sharing ideas, and exploring new approaches to strengthening communities across the state made the event both energizing and inspiring.

She left with fresh insights, meaningful connections, and a renewed commitment to supporting impactful work in Grayson Couny.

The Youth Sports Fund is now accepting applications for cheerleading and football assistance! 🏈📣

If your child would like to participate and could benefit from help with registration fees, we encourage you to apply. This fund helps ensure every young athlete has the chance to participate.

This free interactive workshop will explore the many ways food impacts health, and specifically in this workshop, how it helps manage diabetes. This engaging lesson, designed by nutrition experts, will equip you with practical tips and strategies for making better food choices to manage your blood sugar and maintain your health. We will discuss the role of food in blood sugar management, simple tips for meal planning and grocery shopping, as well as resources and tools to support your journey to better health.

🚑 Strengthening Emergency Services in Grayson County

The Grayson County Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce that we have awarded a $500,000 grant to the Grayson County Fiscal Court to support the construction of the new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Facility. We are grateful for the dedication of our EMS professionals and honored to play a role in advancing this important project for our community.
