Looking for a way to be part of something bigger than yourself?
Our department is currently looking to fill FIVE volunteer firefighter vacancies, and we are searching for motivated individuals ready to serve their community and be part of a strong team environment.
As a volunteer firefighter, you’ll be there when people need help the most — bringing calm to chaos, hope during emergencies, and making a difference on someone’s worst day. Along the way, you’ll build lifelong friendships, valuable skills, and a sense of purpose that few things can match.
Whether it’s responding to fires, car accidents, rescues, or helping neighbors in need, every call is an opportunity to serve something greater than yourself.
We are proud to offer progressive training, modern equipment, and a supportive brotherhood/sisterhood committed to helping every member succeed.
Interested but don’t know where to start? A FREE Ohio 36-Hour Volunteer Firefighter Course will be offered this summer through the Ohio Fire Academy, making this the perfect opportunity to get involved.
Requirements include:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass a firefighter physical
• Pass a background check
• Successfully complete the Ohio 36-Hour Volunteer Firefighter Course
If you or someone you know has ever thought about becoming a firefighter, now is the time. Step up. Serve your community. Be part of something that matters.
Not sure if volunteering is right for you? We offer a ride-along program that allows you to see firsthand what our department does before making a commitment. It’s a great opportunity to meet our members, experience the fire service environment, and see if becoming a volunteer firefighter is the right fit for you.
